Looking for ways to bring the many benefits of mindfulness to your primary students?

Then the Paws b program may be just what you are looking for.

Mindfulness practice has become increasingly popular in schools as it can be a powerful and effective tool to help students manage stress, boost academic performance and enhance overall levels of wellbeing.

Paws b has been developed in the UK and is now delivered successfully throughout the world.

Paws b is a classroom introduction to mindfulness. At the most basic level, Paws b aims to simply be an awareness raising exercise that gives 7 – 11 year olds a taste of mindfulness, so that they know what it is, and can thus return to it later in life, learning more about it when it is useful to them.

The most fundamental aims are:

  • For all children to know about mindfulness

  • For most to enjoy it

  • For many to use it now and again

  • And for some to practice it daily

  • For as many as possible to remember it

The objective is for children to have a positive experience of mindfulness. For some children this may be a life-changing experience, but not for all, so at a superficial level is about them enjoying it.
